Nova Studios creates museum-quality 3D printed fossil replicas for institutions worldwide. Every model is digitally sculpted by founder David Boullard using the latest paleontological research.
01 — Sauriermuseum Bellach, Switzerland
Nova Studios designed a full Protoceratops andrewsi skeleton, a Dimorphodon macronyx flying reptile, and an Aquilops americanus skull for the Sauriermuseum Bellach. The Protoceratops was 3D printed by Dinosauria Creatures, while the Dimorphodon and Aquilops were printed by the museum themselves using Nova Studios’ digital files. All three replicas are now permanent exhibition pieces at the museum.

02 — DinoLab Inc, Canada — “Taco” the Psittacosaurus

03 — DinoLab Inc, Canada — Life-Sized Elasmosaurus
Nova Studios designed the digital model for a life-sized Elasmosaurus platyurus skeleton, which was then 3D printed and assembled by the DinoLab team. This massive marine reptile replica features 72 cervical vertebrae and hangs suspended from the ceiling at their facility in Victoria, BC.

04 — Courtenay and District Museum, Canada
Nova Studios designed an Elasmosaurus replica for the Courtenay and District Museum in British Columbia, Canada. The model was 3D printed and generously donated to the museum by @kathronodon — a passionate paleontology enthusiast who made it possible for the museum to add this piece to their permanent collection.

05 — University of Zaragoza, Spain
Nova Studios designed the Diplocaulus and Beelzebufo ampinga models for the University of Zaragoza’s paleontology department. The replicas were 3D printed by Dinosauria Creatures, one of Nova Studios’ printing partners, and delivered to the university for teaching and research.

06 — Psittacosaurus sibiricus
One of Nova Studios’ signature models, the 1.8-metre Psittacosaurus sibiricus skeleton replica is the world’s first complete museum-style mount of this species. Digitally sculpted based on scientific research and paleontological literature.
07 — Aquilops americanus
Nova Studios created the world’s first complete Aquilops americanus skeleton reconstruction — the earliest known horned dinosaur from North America, dating back approximately 108 million years.

08 — Baby Deinonychus antirrhopus
The Baby Deinonychus antirrhopus is one of Nova Studios’ most iconic models and the inspiration behind the Nova Studios logo. This charming fantasy piece imagines what a juvenile Deinonychus might have looked like — a creative interpretation rather than a strict scientific reconstruction.
