Step into the prehistoric past with Nova Studios’ extraordinary 1/2 scale Edmontosaurus skull—a creation fueled by a genuine love for paleontology and the collaborative spirit of the 3D community. Imagine taking a stroll through the virtual corridors of Sketchfab, where we stumbled upon a freely available 3D-scanned model of an Edmontosaurus—its exterior meticulously capturing every detail, every contour.

Now, here’s where the magic happens. Our team at Nova Studios, captivated by the beauty of this ancient giant, dedicated countless hours to resculpting the skull’s interior. We’re talking about the unseen spaces, the hidden nooks that the scanner missed. Picture it as our way of giving this majestic creature the attention it truly deserves, right down to the bone.

But wait, it gets even cooler. The teeth! To ensure authenticity down to the last chomp, we snagged 3D scans of real Edmontosaurus teeth from the ever-generous Sketchfab library. These scans became the blueprint for reconstructing the inner scissor teeth, adding that extra touch of realism to our dino masterpiece.

And guess what? We’re not keeping this treasure to ourselves. Nope, we’re all about sharing the love for science and art. You can find our 1/2 scale Edmontosaurus skull for free on Cult3D, because we believe in giving credit where credit is due. We won’t take a bow for the initial scans—we’re just here to bring this incredible piece of the past into your hands, with a non-commercial license that respects the incredible community that made it all possible.
